SAI SOMBOON (he/him), originally from Bangkok, Thailand, is an educator and theatre/dance artist based in Jersey City and Asbury Park, NJ. He is currently a Teaching Fellow for Real Talk: The Art and Practice of Brave Communication at Harvard Graduate School of Education. As a performer, Sai has appeared in Sleep No More NYC and productions at the Fulton Theatre, North Shore Music Theatre, Walden Shakespeare, Maltz Jupiter, and Daegu Opera House in Korea. As a comedian, he has performed at Broadway Comedy Club, The Underground, Caveat NYC, and House of Heals in Bangkok. In 2023, he premiered his solo show Extraordinary Alien at Theatre Row, and in 2024, he directed and choreographed IBM 1401 at Chulalongkorn University. Sai holds a BA in anthropology from Franklin & Marshall College, an MFA in dance from The Ohio State University, and an Ed.M. from Harvard University.
